Walters successfully bid to be part of A14 Integrated Delivery Team

The A14 Integrated Delivery Team (A14 IDT) has selected Walters to undertake 2 of the 4 packages of earthworks required as part of the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon Improvement Scheme. The combined value of the projects represent over 65% of the earthworks required to deliver the scheme. This requires an estimated earthmoving volume exceeding 12 million cubic metres, with a target delivery cost in the order of £60 million.

Walters have recently completed works on the M6 / M1 Junction 19 Improvement project for Skanska. The £9.8 million project involved bulk earthworks required to enable a complex junction improvement scheme for Highways England that in total cost £191 million.
